ClanEire is an initiative led by the Irish Farmers Association, Fbd Insurance plc and CP. Community Publishing Ltd. IFA and FBD are focused in meeting the needs of Irish communities in differing ways.   Together we see the Information Society presenting real opportunities to strengthen the fabric of Irish communities while at the same time presenting the dangers of further isolation for some. We believe that by putting control over the local information system in the hands of the community that these dangers can be avoided.  The Internet is a collection of community information systems.  ClanEire brings this to Irish communities for the 21st Century.
